Dear alumni brothers of Delta Xi,

It’s been said that “only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have”. This is true in life and it’s also true for our alumni association.

As you know, Delta Xi has several foundation opportunities for various purposes that we can give to if we wish but this is a different opportunity.

We are talking about our alumni annual contribution fund. This is where we ask that, as alumni of Delta Xi, we all contribute to an expense fund each year.

We know that when you give money you want to know where it goes. That is the best part of this fund — it goes back to us. Think of it as a fund to cover the operational expenses of our alumni association. It is used for items like:

• Storage facility fees for our chapter materials and historical archives.
• Renting Arlington for Homecoming.
• Renting the Mule Barn for homecoming.
• Food and expenses for homecoming tailgate before the game.
• Expenses like the Beta tents and flags used for events.
• Insurance for activities, etc. etc. etc.

If your time as a Beta at EKU meant as much to you as we think it did, please try to contribute annually $100.00 if you can. If you can only spare $50.00 that is great too. If you can spare more, that is equally great. It’s not the amount you give, but the spirit in which you give it.
